All bandages are off! Oxycocet is no longer required! The wound is obviously struggling to heal, and people are giving me good suggestions about how to help that process along. Stretching feels great!
Mom is coming to town this evening, and we're seeing Dr. Engel in the morning. It will be a relief to know what the next stage will be.

ReplyDeleteYou can't tell by this photo, but the incision under my arm is covering a giant welt of body fluid (which I like to think of as Erin Juice, or special sauce). Anyway, Dr Engel saw it and commented "You don't need that golfball, SOFTBALL under there!" as the resident doctor drained it with a giant syringe.
